Newly appointed Attorney General Jeff Sessions of Alabama is in fire again for his involvement in the firing of F.B.I Director James Comey after he was to recuse himself from the investigation of Russian interference into the 2016 elections.

Earlier this year Sessions was caught giving false information under oath about not having any ties or communication with Russians when later it was in fact proven that he did. According to sources he met with Russian Ambassadors twice last year.

Court records show Sessions is also known for his racial bias towards people of color and of trying to make life harder for minorities.

F.B.I Director James Comey stated last week during hearings that they were continuing with their investigation into Trumps Campaign ties with Russia.

Many are outraged at the sudden move.  Sen. Al Franken (D- Minn.) stated, “I am also deeply troubled by the fact that Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who pledged to recuse himself from the Russia investigation because of his own Russia connections, involved himself in Director Comey’s firing,” Franken said in a statement. “This is a complete betrayal of his commitment to the public that he wouldn’t be involved in the investigation.”

There are also calls being made for a special prosecutor to be appointed and continue to move this investigation forward or else this case may be dismissed.

What are your thoughts on Jeff Sessions injecting himself into the middle of an investigation that he was to no be a part of?
